Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler are back at it with Murder Mystery 2!  Netflix released this movie on March 31st, 2023, and the girls jumped on the chance to review a modern rom com. 

Last week, a murder kicked off the drama in Murder Mystery.  This week, a kidnapping!  Who did it?  Was it the jaded ex-fiancé?  The sister?  Was it SUSAN?! Or……did Nick and Audrey actually plan the kidnapping this time?

From innocent bystanders to main suspects, they must solve this string of murders before they're arrested. Ya'll, this movie is hilarious. Just kidding, that's just the premise of this week's Hallmark movie, A Picture of Her! Shutterbot is someone's name, roses are a girl's favorite flowers, and shipping anything to a boat is annoying and/or impossible.

Sophia and Emily spend time talking through this movie, and then sharing their thoughts on whether it's a gem or a dud.

Bonjour! This weeks episode talks about A Paris Proposal, starring Alexa Penavega and Nicholas Bishop. In this movie, Anna (Penavega) and Sebastian (Bishop) travel to Paris to land an ad account, but soon wind up in a tricky situation when the client mistakes them for a married couple. Overall, cute movie - it sticks to Hallmark's classic levels of predictability and charm while avoiding the ever-so-frustrating "miscommunication trope" (which we cleeearrrrly hate).

Heads up, this is a chatty episode - especially when Taylor Swift is mentioned. So, if you want to skip to the movie review, jump to around 37 mins.

Our journey has come to an end with The Wedding Veil: Journey :( Tracy and Nick finally take their honeymoon to Greece! After years of being like ships passing in the night, Tracy knows that they need to finally take this trip for the health of their marriage. We get Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants and Mama Mia vibes and absolutely love it. We're both so sad to end this journey with our girls, but we really hope that you have enjoyed this series with us. Please join us next week as we review "Sweeter Than Chocolate", a 2023 Hallmark release. 

Number 5 in The Wedding Veil series has us back with Emma and Paolo!  They're in Chicago this time, getting ready to open up Paolo's lace store in the states.  Unfortunately, Paolo's father gets ill and that requires Paolo to return home to Italy.  This causes some complications and strains for Emma that she has to work around and sort through during the movie.  

We meet new characters like Lily and Matteo that we LOVE!  And hear grand speeches that may or may not be the catalyst for Emily and Sophia's healing....we will see!

Sophia goes on another of her soap boxes about rom coms and why certain ones are classics and others are duds.  She gives a part 2 review of Your Place or Mine considering she finished it since the last podcast episode.  You'll want to tune in to hear those thoughts, if you're considering watching it yourself!

This movie reunites us with Peter and Avery, our first Wedding Veil couple in the series. We see how they are navigating real-life stressors like home renovations, new bosses, busy schedules, and oh yeah, A BABY! Avery and Peter find out they are expecting (hehe), and we get to go on this journey with them as they learn how to handle so many changes. We see the veil work its magic again, and our favorite trio reminds us just how special friendships can be. 

The gals also chat about their own busy schedules and the importance of prioritizing rest throughout.
