We are back for part two of our six-episode series covering all movies in The Wedding Veil saga. This episode covers The Wedding Veil: Unveiled, where Emma (Autumn Reeser) travels to Italy to teach and research a wedding veil said to bring its owner love. While there, she meets Paolo (Paolo Bernardini), the son of a local lace-making family. Keeping with the tradition from the first movie, this one is an absolute Slay! Emily and Sophia begin the dive into The Wedding Veil movie series, and it got kicked off with a bang! Lacey Chabert stars in this gem of a movie, alongside Autumn Reeser, Kevin McGarry, and Alison Sweeney! 

They also discuss Sophia taking down all of her Christmas decor, Emily training for her new job, and an upcoming school dance for Sophia's daughter!  

The girls are back (in town) to talk about Taking a Shot at Love, a 2021 Hallmark Channel movie starring Alexa PenaVega and Luke Macfarlane. A former professional dancer uses ballet to help an injured hockey star get back on the ice, and we absolutely loved this movie! We both loved the charm, the style, the chemistry, the acting, the storyline - you name it. Definitely give this one a watch for a feel-good storyline that is true to Hallmark style without being overly predictable or boring. This movie was the perfect dose of hygge (listen to learn all about it!), and we just think that perfectly encapsulates the vibe this month. The girls also dive into their "love-to-hate" show, Gilmore Girls (listen, we just don't like it - sorry not sorry), with more toxic character analyses.

Happy New Year!  Emily and Sophia share how their Christmas holidays were spent and what feelings they had about it all.  Are gifts necessary for Christmas?  What even is it all about?  

They also dive in to goals for the year!  But it's a different kind of conversation than just "___ amount of books to read" and "run a marathon" that you normally see and hear.  They speak truth to how goal setting should be, encourage one another in their goals, and call out toxicity from New Years Resolution haters.  It's an episode you don't wanna miss!

Emily and Sophia went deep in this episode.  Cheating, chasing dreams, heavy laden with guilt, death of loved ones, estranged family members.....it was heavy. 

But not before they reminisced on High School roles thanks to A Christmas Class Reunion!  This Hallmark movie was watched by Emily!  She did a great job describing it.  See if it was enough to convince Sophia to watch it. 

The movies the girls chose to dive deeper into were The Noel Diary (Netflix), A Holiday Spectacular (Hallmark), and Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas (Hallmark Movies & Mystery).  There are a lot of spoilers, so listen at your own risk, or after you've watched them for yourself!  

A favorite quote from one of the movies was "You and I have been holding onto this guilt for a while now.  If it's okay with you, I think it's time we put it down now." Listen in for the context of that quote and the impact it had on the girls. 

Emily and Sophia are back after a 2 week hiatus thanks to a stomach bug!  They catch up and talk about how their Thanksgivings were, about cat body dysmorphia, is Buc-ee's the best gas station?, Door Dash, and Advent Readings.  

Emily traveled a lot over the course of a week, while Sophia lied as low as humanly possible the week of Thanksgiving.  

Sophia talked about the Advent reading she did for her church and the potential Hallmark Movie Moment it provided.
