So this quickisode combined two of our favorite things… horror films and Marvel movies. Then as an added bonus, we wanted to lay down the gauntlet for an upcoming new segment on Mike, Mike, and Oscar… 6 degrees of MMO.

Mike 1 is a raging Halloween movie franchise fan. Also Mike has always loved him some John Carpenter. So we couldn’t resist a chance to pounce on the new & improved trailer 2 for this Michael Meyers vs Laurie Strode showdown. We continue our preview and ramp up for the late October release from Blumhouse, David Gordon Green, & Danny McBride. We’re also thrilled to see the enthusiasm from franchise stalwarts Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis. Hot takes abound, and the MMO hype machine is rolling. The other big news of the week in movie fandom was the Captain Marvel first look photos and Entertainment Weekly article on the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since we’re such big fans, since we reviewed all 20 films released previously in the MCU, and since that’s such a flashy costume, we needed to comment in this episode.

Again, as an added bonus, we introduce a new segment 6 Degrees of MMO, where we’ll be playing 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon with our audience.
