Halloween has turned into a revival of the ancient Day of the Dead. Should Christians celebrate Halloween?  What about All Saints Eve or “Reformation Day”?  Or what about birthdays? Should Christians keep trees in their homes?  Should they hang a pentagram in the living room? How much liberty is allowed the family jurisdiction, and where does the church go too far?  Should the church celebrate Christmas or require the celebration of Christmas for others?  These questions are taken up by thoughtful Christian families, and it is critical that we have consistently biblical answers, especially for our young adult children.
