News broke Thursday that the Israeli military has killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in a southern Gaza raid. Earlier this week, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken sent a letter to Israel’s Minister of Defense in which they threatened to cut off future military aid unless Israel allowed more humanitarian aid into Gaza in the next thirty days.
