Ontario’s Transportation Minister announced that the pilot project for testing speed limits on some highways will see three areas in the province where drivers will be able to reach a limit of 110 km/h. The affected roadways are the Queen Elizabeth Way from St. Catharines to Hamilton, Highway 402 from London to Sarnia, and Highway 417 from Ottawa/Gloucester to Ontario/Quebec border.

$7.4 billion in dirty money was laundered through British Columbia last year, and twin reports by Maureen Maloney and Peter German revealed that $5 billion of that money was funnelled through B.C.’s real estate market. Both reports were “fact-finding” in nature, neither naming names nor assigning blame.
