Join Hancock and Kelley for another episode of their show! In today's program, the duo covers various topics including Trump's Town Hall, his remarks on Ukraine, and the coop.
Later in the show, composer Damien Sneed joins them to discuss his work on Scott Joplin's opera, "Treemonisha." Sneed has infused modern and new pieces into the original 1911 work, turning it into an opera in five acts. He shares his journey from discovering the score as a student at Howard University to orchestrating the entire opera, which had its orchestrations lost.
To wrap the hour, John Hancock and Kelly are joined by Michael's sister Erin Eberhardt in the studio. Erin is the CEO of Kids in the Middle, a nonprofit organization that provides therapy services to children and parents whose families are going through divorce, separation, or remarriage. The organization offers group counseling, individual counseling, and a school outreach counseling program. They also provide services for parents, such as co-parenting classes and joint parenting opportunities. Kids in the Middle served 2000 kids or parents in the previous year and offers a sliding scale for families that cannot afford their services.
