Eunji is an elementary school teacher, music producer, and singer songwriter. We reminisce about high school days and our 13 year friendship, and discuss the switch from teaching in the classroom to remote teaching during the pandemic. eunj also takes us through her process of analyzing songs instrumentally (with 2 examples during the episode). I’ve known her as Eunji since 2007, but in 2020, she became eunj! She dropped the “i” from her name and became an awesome Soundclouder, but will soon be on a Spotify near you~

A lot of people that I’ve come in contact with in my life and have gotten to know throughout the years are doing amazing things that I’m really proud of. I’d love to feature them on my platform, for them to share their stories and provide their perspectives. I’d love to invite more people onto Happier with Ming as guests, so we can both learn from their life experiences, how they got to where they currently are, and what their why is. If you know somebody you’d love to hear come on the show or if you’d like to come tell your story, please reach out to me via email ([email protected]) or on social media (HappierwithMing on Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, etc.)

What you do during the first hour of your day directly influences and sets the tone for how the rest of your day may go. Try to build a habit of not checking your devices for the first hour of your day. By doing this, you can begin your day in the here & now, with a positive focus, and in a place of inner peace and control. If you start your day with intention, it sets your productivity for the rest of the day.
We also talk about 4 strategies for reducing your screen time during this digital age of information over-consumption:
1) Build a schedule
2) Set a timer
3) Make a list of things to do that don’t involve electronics
4) Create phone-free spaces
Your eyes will thank you
