There is no Health without Mental Health.
Mental health is a sneaky devil, what you think is a bad day, ends up turning into a bad week and then a bad month, and suddenly years later you realize, that good days are a rarity in your life. You wake up low with 1000 thoughts per second running in your mind, you try everything possible from exercise to getting some sunlight to taking cold showers, but nothing changes. The dark cloud over your head remains. Suffering with mental health issues is the most loneliest journey one has to go through, even though there is a support system available to you in the form of family or spouse, you just cant see it. You continue to struggle alone in your own head.
In this episode, we discuss how mental health issues went undiagnosed for a very long time and started affecting our relationship. We talk about what all Karan went through while struggling with mental health issues and what all he did right and wrong to fix it. Why your Mental Health should be your top most priority and why you need to talk more openly about it!

Shaadi ke baad bohot badal gaya hai! Shaadi ke baad toh tu doston ko bhool hi gaya! Shaadi ke baad apni biwi ke alawa kuch dikhta hi nahi!
What happens to a man when he hears all these comments from his friends and loved ones? They all sing and dance and enjoy when they get married and then somehow collectively turn against his marriage saying he has changed after his wife came into the picture. They all want you to get "settled" but somehow remain the same as you used to be.
How a man's life is completely predefined by societal norms of being the "man" of the house, being the provider of the house. How they suffer silently and start living a dual life. What it does to these men?
We discuss the various shades of suffering a man goes through after marriage. What is the cost he has to pay for following his dreams and speaking up for what he wants?
Don't judge people for the choices they make when you don't know the options they had to choose from! When you decide to move out of the family home and create your own life, you are judged for leaving behind your parents. But no one sees the reasons why you took that step. What is better living in a hostile situation for the sake of being together as a family or choosing to live away and maintain a happy, cordial relationship? Why do parents judge their children so heavily for choosing to live separately with their family, when they also made the same choice?
In this episode, we discuss how we were both judged by many people for choosing to live separately. But this decision made our life so much better when we made that boundary it almost saved our marriage!
Everyone has dreams of celebrating their first marriage anniversary in the most romantic way possible! After all it's an achievement to survive the first year of marriage, the hardest time for most couples. When we finally reached this big milestone in our relationship, how it got compromised again because of some random issues thrown our way. How financial responsibilities become a constant problem between a couple when the expenses keep piling up from parents without any regard for the couple's financial capabilities. If both husband and wife are earning shouldn't they both take care of both set of parents instead of all the money just going to the man's parents/family?
How we dealt with our first anniversary getting compromised.
After Diwali came Bhai dooj and then came the family to our new home for the first time. How there was a home tour of silent judgment and what not. As newer generations change the way of celebrating the festivals, the older generation resists that change and the end result is them sulking at the festivals. Eventually dampening everyone's spirits. Is that right? Should you have fun and go with the flow or else just hold onto the traditions just for the sake of it! Aren't the festivals supposed to be about togetherness and having fun? What do you think?
Also find a couple's checklist for festival time to avoid any issues/fights in the home. Find out what happened in this episode!

Due to some technical disturbances we had to cut short the last episode so here is the second half of our Love Bible!
Do you have little love rituals with your partner? They can be something as simple as morning coffee /tea together. Greeting your partner with a kiss at the end of the day? Morning cuddles before you get out of bed? A comfort show that you binge together while being a couch potato! Every couple has their own versions of rituals. These kinds of small gestures will help you in many ways-
1. Building trust that comes from following a regular routine
2. Make your bond stronger and deepen your connection
3. Turn towards each other for help in every way
In this episode we share our little rituals, feel free to make your own list or even copy our love bible and use it to come together again and again! These rituals made us bounce back from our bad days and helped us find our way back to each other. There were a lot of times we completely forgot about such rituals but we are here to tell you our mistakes so that you can learn from them.
