In this episode we have our first guest on the podcast, Jada Wesson creator of BLVKPSYCH.
BLVCKPSYCH, a digital wellness space destigmatizing mental health and integrating social issues in how we as a society view mental health. BLVKPSYCH was created by Black creator Jada Wesson in an effort to bring mental health awareness to the Black Community and expand the conversations we have on the topic of mental health.
In this episode we go over the importance of mental health education in Black spaces and Jada’s experience in working in the Black Wellness space.
We talk about slow-living, the anti-hussle culture, and what it means to slow down and prioritize rest.
We also talk about self-awareness, the key to staying true to yourself on your healing journey and the impact it can have in your relationships as well as your personal relationship with yourself.
