  • #31: How to Find Clarity (When Everything Feels Overwhelming)

Are you feeling like your mind is going 100 miles an hour ,every second of every day? Yeah I was too.

Are all your thoughts constantly going to thinking about what you should do next, what you should have done and what you could be doing? Yeah, I was too.

Do you feel like you have an endless list of responsibilities and obligations that you are always behind on? Like no matter what you do, you will never catch up. You feel like you are only chasing these things out of obligation. You have somehow rewired your brain to believe that you HAVE to do all these things and you just don't know what you even want anymore, but you know that something has to change?

I totally relate, I felt the same exact way not too long ago. So I created this episode in hopes that what helped me, can also help you find some mental peace, and some clarity.

  • #30: A Small Guide to Inner Peace (4 Steps That Lead to More Happiness and Mental Peace)

In today's episode we dive into the reality of co-existing with worries, anxieties and difficult life circumstances. I share 4 steps that I have learned can help create inner peace, mental calm and happiness - even when life gets tough.

Is it really possible to be happy - to create inner peace, even though we have negative feelings and situations in our lives? YES!

At least that's what I've discovered and truly believe. We will all always have a "mess basket" living with us, in our minds and thoughts. The good news is that we can learn to accept our "mess baskets", manage it and not let it get in the way of our happiness.

All of this and much more in this small 4 step guide to more inner peace and happiness.

  • #29: Guilt-Free Setbacks (Managing Negative Feelings When Things Go Wrong)

Wouldn’t it be nice to allow ourselves some room for imperfection? We can all be so hard on ourselves when things don’t go the way we imagined them or wished them. We blame ourselves, we feel as though we’ve failed or as though we haven’t done, or even aren’t, enough.

In this episode I wanted to like to talk us through some ways we can learn to be more gentle with ourselves, ways we can handle setbacks without feeling shameful and guilty. Wouldn’t it be nice to allow ourselves to go through setbacks, just like everybody else, and come out stronger and more self assured on the other side?

When something doesn’t go the way we wanted it to, expected it to or thought it needed to, usually our first instinctive reaction is to dissect what went wrong. We often look within ourselves to find flaws or reasons that could explain why something didn’t work out for us.

My purpose with this episode is to empower and inspire you to give yourself a big hug when you fall down, instead of kicking yourself when you are already hurt. It's okay to feel scared and nervous if you go through a setback. It’s okay to be disappointed when something doesn’t go right, but it is not helpful to blame or pressure yourself.

  • #28: "What I Should Do" vs. "What I Want to Do" (Balancing Joy, Obligations and Feeling Overwhelmed)

Do you also live out most of your days feeling overwhelmed with obligation and responsibilities, leaving you little time for joys and a feeling of freedom?
Yes, me too. In fact, I think most of us continuously try to manage our lives with this heavy feeling weighing down on us and a wonder and desire for more joy and less pressure.

What is it about our daily lives, about the way we’ve set up our lives that leaves us with this constricting feeling?

In today's episode we dive into the balance between managing your obligations and responsibilities whilst still leaving space for things that create a feeling of freedom and joy.

We specifically talk about why we end up feeling so overwhelmed and so pressured by our daily lives and how we could possibly manage our mindset and routines differently.

I’ve been longing to come back to this space, something in me just feels right at home, sharing thoughts, lessons and new perspectives. • #25: I Never Thought I Could Do This (A Lesson On Self Belief)

My personal story of when I was young, I had no self esteem and was extremely shy. I never talked in class, I never believed I would be anything special and I would NEVER do anything that put me as the centre of attention. I would have definitely NEVER EVER believed you if you told me the 10 years later, I would be moving abroad by myself, going out to meet strangers and organising meet-ups (despite my social anxiety).
So how did I make all this happen?

How can YOU make this happen?

Because you CAN. You absolutely can! You are NO different from me. The way you feel about yourself is NOT less or that different from how I used to feel about myself.

In this episode I share with you 5 lessons on self belief I learned in my journey.

  • #24: Life Is a Rollercoaster (but Your Happiness Doesn't Have to Be)

It's a total cliché, but for a reason, right?
Even though life takes you through ups and downs, throws you some curveballs or just generally sucks - you can still maintain your happiness, calmness and hopefulness.

How? In this episode I take you through some of my personal experiences, thoughts and lessons.
Life is not about avoiding the downs (that's just lot possible or realistic), instead it's about going through your downs with grace, patience and kindness towards yourself (and life).

It's not easy, but I promise you; after a low, comes and up that will be SO worth the hard work.

  • #23: BEING AN INTROVERT (& Proud Of It)

I used to think being an introvert was something to be ashamed of. I thought that being introverted and everything that came with it equalled being weak and insecure. Oh boy, was I wrong!

Since learning about what being an introvert really means - I have never felt more powerful and more confident saying it out loud. I have honestly never felt more in tune with myself - I feel proud, strong and safe in knowing why I am the way I am and how to prioritise my time and energy for a balanced life in peace.

In today's episode we are looking deeper into what it means to be an introvert! I’ll try to answer any questions that may arise around this topic, or at least just try to share what I’ve learned along the way and my personal stories (as I know you guys really enjoy).

    • What does it mean to be an introvert/extrovert?
    • How did I determine/discover that I’m an introvert?
    • How I learned to accept and find pride and peace in being an introvert?
    • How I learned not to view introvert/extrovert on a spectrum rather than two separate categories?
    • Strengths in being an introvert
    • Learning to respect my introversion and taking care of my social battery and mental well being.
    • Using my introversion as an excuse to socially withdraw (learning to find a healthy balance).

  • #22: HOW TO NOT FUCK UP A NEW RELATIONSHIP (Classic Messy Mind)

Well guys, the title says it all.
As messy minds, we have a tendency to overthink and overanalyse to the point of tripping our own feet. It's not easy to navigate waves of thoughts in a new relationship, but in this episode I share some points on how to reflect on our own behaviours and how to grow a new relation in a healthy direction.

I am in NO way a relationship expert (I think that's clear from my other dating episodes hehe), but these are things I've learned along the way and ways I'm learning to manage new relationships.

If you have any insights - feel free to share them with me!
