This week we are so lucky to be joined by professional triathlete (and Melbourne gal) Grace Thek!
Grace is currently leading the Ironman Pro Series, came second to Laura Philipp at Challenge Roth last year in her Ironman distance debut, and has quickly become one of the most exciting athletes in long-course racing.
We chat about her journey from injured collegiate runner to professional triathlete, why Ironman racing has reignited her love for the sport, the friendships she's built on the pro circuit, and the lessons she's learnt through injuries, setbacks and finding the right bike.
Grace also shares why she believes the race is simply a celebration of the training, what keeps bringing her joy in triathlon, and why she's so excited to take on Kona later this year.
Whether you're chasing your first finish line, dealing with your own injuries and setbacks or wnat the inside word on the professional racing scene, this conversation is packed with perspective, wisdom and plenty of laughs.
You can find Grace on Instagram @gracethek - and we also talk about some of her sponsors @quintanarootri @fasttt.bike and @wynrepublic
