James, the brother of Jesus, confronts us with strong words designed to call us to live out a bold and active faith in Christ. James begins this final section of his epistle by reminding us that in all things, including prayer, our focus must be on Jesus Christ. In this sermon by Pastor Seth Winterhatler, we see that though James encourages us to pray for our physical, mental, and emotional realities, it is even more important to pray for our spiritual realities. Remember as you pray that God is your Father and Healer, and so pray with belief, faith, and trust. And remember to give God praise for the reality that He is the foundation of the faith and life of those that put their hope in Jesus Christ.
