It is obvious that our casual relationships are not fulfilling or life giving. God designed us for something much deeper. In this third sermon of our Foundation series, Pastor Caleb Stone preaches from Hebrews 10:19-25, sharing about living life together. We see that any chance we have of living life together must first begin by having life in Christ. This then leads us to deep connection with one another. What are you building your life upon? In our final sermon of the Incarnation sermon series, Pastor Seth Winterhlater teaches from Philippians 2:12-18. Here we read Paul's encouragement to "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." We are to work out our salvation, which oftentimes is a rough and difficult process. Yet there is promise that it is not only we who work, but God working in and through us. We are to filled each day by God that we might be poured out in a lifetime of service for Jesus' mission.

In this third sermon in our Christmas sermon series titled Incarnation, Pastor Seth Winterhalter preaches about the life of Jesus and specifically who he surrounded himself with. Though it may have been easier for Jesus to fulfill his ministry solo, he instead called to himself a team of misfits, poured himself into them, and sent them out to proclaim the Gospel and change the world. Jesus did not go it alone, and neither should we. We must wrestle with the things that keep us from doing life together. If we are to live incarnationally like Jesus, we must to do so in relationship with others.

In this second sermon in our Christmas series about the incarnation of Jesus, we look at the early days of Jesus ministry. Not much is said in the gospels about Jesus' early years. One of the first instances we see in the life of Jesus from the gospel of Matthew is a season of temptation and preparation for Jesus before he enters public ministry. He is led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to prepare him for the public life. However, just as Jesus' wilderness experience helped prepare him for his public ministry, so his early years were a season of preparation for his wilderness temptations.
