In this sermon, Pastor Seth Winterhalter examines the life of Joseph found in Genesis 37-50. Though Joseph was the favored son of his father Jacob, his life was not easy. Joseph encountered much suffering, including hatred from family, being sold into slavery, false accusations, and years in prison where he was left for dead. Yet in spite of all that man had done to him, Joseph says that it was ultimately God who sent him through it all, and though it was meant for evil, God meant it for good. We see through Joseph’s life what it looks like to be a suffering missionary living for the glory of God.
