Saul seems to be the most unlikely person for God to use to build his Church. He vehemently opposed the Gospel of Jesus Christ and did all he could to persecute the early church, doing evil against the bride of Christ. But all of that changed when we radically encountered Jesus Christ. In this sermon, Pastor Seth Winterhlater closes our Sent sermon series by looking at Jesus' calling of Saul, later know as the apostle Paul, as his chosen instrument of bringing the Gospel to the gentiles.

To experience the joy of the Lord in being sent, we must be more concerned with our character than our abilities. The book of Nehemiah reminds us that God uses all kinds of people in all kinds of situations for his plans and glory.

What is your vision of God? What is your response when you are in His presence? What was Isaiah's response when he encountered the presence of God? In this sermon by Pastor Seth Winterhalter we see both God's utter holiness and Isaiah's realization of his own unholiness. Yet in spite of all that man had done to him, Joseph says that it was ultimately God who sent him through it all, and though it was meant for evil, God meant it for good. We see through Joseph’s life what it looks like to be a suffering missionary living for the glory of God.

Scripture is clear, we are called to salvation, and then we sent us out to make disciples. In this first sermon of the series, we look at God’s call on Abraham, a classic missionary. Genesis 12:1-3 shows the call on Abraham’s life, that he was called by God and was blessed so that he would bring the blessing of God to a broken world.

In 2 Corinthians 8 and 9, the Apostle Paul shares an incredible example of the generosity that was given by the churches of Macedonia. Their severe test of affliction and their extreme poverty overflowed in a wealth of generosity. Paul calls the Corinthian church to follow in this pattern.
