Today is our third week in our Devoted series looking at why the early church was devoted to breaking the bread and what this means as we see Jesus breaking bread throughout his earthly ministry. We continue our sermon series looking at the second item the early Christian church devoted themselves to; the fellowship. They were committed to not simply meeting together but living intentionally, in unity, with a shared vision and mission. As we look into the early church we examine ourselves today, looking at our friendships and close relationships and asking ourselves who we are in fellowship with and where are we headed together.

We start our four-week sermon series looking into the four primary things the church in Acts devoted itself to while we ask ourselves the question: what are we devoted to? To what or to whom does our schedule, our finances, our desires, and our priorities reveal about our devotions?

Pastor Joel Brown, from Resurrection Church, delivers our closing message in 2017 reminding us what it means to have an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ that produces in us and through us fruit that bring glory to God our Father.

We conclude our Advent series with a message on love. The love that Jesus Christ reveals to the world is in stark contrast to our distorted love that is often selfish and has a "what's in it for me" reality. What does it look like to love like Jesus? How did he love us? And why should we love like him?

We continue our "Advent with Friends" series welcoming Pastor Aaron Gray from Sound City Bible Church in Shoreline to speak on the theme of joy. Humanity often attempts to find happiness in that which man makes instead of looking to the Creator God for the deep joy we all long for.

Special Guest, Pastor Matthias Haeusel from Cross and Crown Seattle, starts our Advent series preaching on the theme of Peace. In a chaotic world filled with anxiety, stress, and brokenness we all long for a peace that is lasting. So where do we turn to for peace?

We close our series through the book of Judges with a message that reveals the primary reason this book was written to its original audience. We also see how God would use it to reveal the depravity and self-centeredness of every human age and why we all need, not only a Savior, but also a King.

In our thirteenth message in our Judges sermon series, we finally get to the story of Samson, God's chosen deliverer with supernatural strength. While Samson has been a Bible hero portrayed in many Sunday School classrooms, his true story is a heartbreaking example of someone who was called and filled by the Spirit of God yet chose to use his gifting for his own gain. Samson appeases every desire of his flesh and yet God still uses him as a vessel for His plans and purposes. How has God gifted you and how are you pursuing righteousness in order to be ready for every good work God has in store?
