The 2000 season saw the resurgence of the Oklahoma Sooners under Bob Stoops. The Sooners went on to beat Florida State in the Orange Bowl to cap off their undefeated season. Perhaps more impressive though, was the season put together by Dennis Erickson and his Oregon State Beavers. A school record 11-1 season that was literally seconds away from them being 11-0 and having a chance to play the Sooners. What would have happened if the Beavers would have beat Washington and got their shot at the title?
