It leads us to consider what do we need to live faithfully in our current cultural moment as Christians in the increasingly secular west.

We Need Each Other

We need each other. We need each other’s stories, wisdom, tears, and encouragement in our lives. We especially need to share in the Spirit’s working together in our lives, because without one another we only get part of the story. This week we’ll see how this truth transformed the Church.

Church is Open

This week we remember the vision Peter receives and his encounter with the Centurion Cornelius in Acts 10. This moment is an incredible echo of Pentecost from Acts 3 and a powerful reminder of how the Church of Christ is now open to all people groups. We will consider how God might be challenging us to change our perception and posture toward our neighbors to be a witness to the light.
