Hardwired with Jeff Wickwire

All of humanity is born into a sinful nature; our inheritance that can be traced all the way back to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. We may not be born Christian, but by the grace of God, we have the opportunity to receive Jesus’ gift of salvation and be freed from the burden of our sin. Pastor Jeff teaches today that none of us are good on our own; we are only made “good” by the work of Jesus in us.  The Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out. Without that, we are rotten and sinful to the core.

Who is Jesus to you? Who do you think He is? How much does your view of Jesus come from Scripture, and how much comes from your own perceptions and preconceptions? It’s a difficult task to fully rely on Scripture, but today Pastor Jeff implores you to make Scripture your only source about Him. Human interpretations of His character are destined to be flawed, and mischaracterizations of who He really is. If you’re not careful, you might put Jesus into a box, and create your own personal Jesus.

Make no mistake, a key component of Jesus’ salvation is that He died a sinless Savior.  It’s because of this that the sacrifice of His blood was able to cover the cost of all the sins of humanity. Pastor Jeff reminds you in today’s message that any teaching that says that Jesus was a human who sinned undermines the message of the Gospel. A great price was paid to redeem you from the slavery of sin.  Are you going to risk tarnishing that message by believing a false teacher, or do you trust Scripture?

How do you know that you’re living in the end times? The more and more you see people trying to discredit the dual nature of Jesus, you can be certain that the enemy is trying to undermine His authority on Earth. Pastor Jeff reminds you in today’s message to be on the lookout, and be wary of those who may try to distract you. Jesus tells you exactly who He is in the Gospels, so don’t take anyone else’s word for it. Jesus is fully man, fully God, the Savior of the world, and the Prince of Peace.

Have you ever experienced God’s favor in your life? Have you ever known someone who’s basking in God’s goodness? In today’s message from Pastor Jeff, he wants you to know that if you want to make a U-turn and change your life for the better, lean into God’s promises. He wants nothing more than to shine His grace into your life and all you need to do is accept His gift. There’s nothing that you could ever do to save yourself. Leave your burdens at the feet of Jesus and be forever changed.

When God makes big promises, what do you do? It’s easy to feel overwhelmed or unequipped, but God will always have a way to use you in big ways. In today’s message, Pastor Jeff wants you to know that you need to leave your worries at the door and let God do mighty things in your life. Be His hands and feet and let Him work in and through you to bring His kingdom to the world. Never stop pursuing the heart of Jesus and experience a fresh renewal in your faith. Listen to His still, soft voice.

When’s the last time you told God something He didn’t already know? If you answered anything but “never,” you probably haven’t been paying attention while reading your Bible! In today’s message, Pastor Jeff uses the story of Lazarus to show that Jesus was omniscient, even on Earth. Why is that important? Because it is vital for Christians to believe that Jesus retained His full power while in human form.  He took on human nature, in addition to His divine nature. He was fully human, and fully God.

Jesus isn’t just the Messiah, but He is also the embodiment of the Word of God! The Bible teaches that all of Creation was breathed into being by God’s Word, by Jesus Christ. That also means that every person on the planet is God’s creation, uniquely and wonderfully made by Jesus. Pastor Jeff wants you to know today that without Jesus, without Him being who He says He is, nothing in the world would exist, including the spiritual forces that are battling behind the scenes of the visible world.

Who is Jesus to you? Unfortunately, it is all too easy to be confused about the nature of Jesus in today’s society. But in today’s message, Pastor Jeff takes a stand against deception and uncertainty and wants you to know exactly who Jesus really is. As your picture of Jesus becomes clearer and more defined, you will have the ability to discern and run from false teachers. Now more than ever, it is important to understand what Scripture says and doesn’t say about Jesus, and why He came to Earth.

If you're longing for a fresh wave of peace that surpasses anything you've experienced before, it's essential to surrender yourself to the Lord fully. Today, Pastor Jeff wants you to know that by giving your all to God, you open the door for His promises to transform your life and lead you to a new identity. This process begins with relinquishing control and trusting God's plan for your life. It's about letting go of fears, doubts, and insecurities and embracing the truth of who God says you are.
