Sarah is delighted to welcome the incredibly lovely Louise Budgen, a life coach and spiritual mentor who, like Sarah, loves championing the mid-life woman, helping them to step into their own value as a woman, at a time when it can be all too easy to become lost, and help them “Rock Midlife” instead. As you will quickly discover, Louise’s energy, aura, and her very being, is calm, peaceful, and truly grounded in her complete alignment with her soul’s purpose.
Together they discuss the challenges, and expectations that midlife can present but also the opportunities that are available through personal development that can then provide the tools, techniques and resilience to navigate this magical time of life.
Louise shares with Sarah how she was guided to write her workbook “Rock Midlife – Avoid the Crisis: Kickstart Workbook” which enables women to work on themselves at home over a 6-week period for only £35.00 a snip of a price compared to the cost of one-to-one coaching. It also provides that introduction to what coaching and personal development is all about as it helps transform life, health relationships and so much more.
This is another fascination and inspiration episode that will leave you wanting to find out more about Louise’s back story, which you can listen to if you check out episode 32 – Radiant Happiness and Peaceful Vibes, during which you will discover how she turned her life around completely following a car crash (which left her with PTSD), and cancer that came twice.
During both episodes Sarah and Louise, discuss the power of personal development, particularly the inner work and how important it is to trust your instinct, know what is right for you personally and that you are so much more than just your body.
Sarah is naturally engaging, her energy infectious, and whether she is sharing her musings and ramblings about life in general, or having insightful discussions with her guests, as you tune in and listen, your energy levels will rise, a smile will spread across your face as your inner happiness is harnessed.

Hot off the back of recording a guest episode Sarah was inspired to talk about in this short episode the importance of being yourself, aligning with your talents and passions, and what fires you up to be your authentic self. Of doing things your way rather than feeling compelled to follow the crowd.
She talks about confidence, that dare devil spirit if you like of self-belief that can help you to step into unknown and in doing so also references the Brené Brown: Call to Courage 2019 film on Netflix in which Brene talks about vulnerability and courage.
An insightful and inspiring short burst of inspiration and motivation that will get you thinking differently and heading off to watch Brene too. And the podcast with Joel and Aidan that Sarah also references as her inspiration for this episode.

Harnessing Happiness with Sarah J Naylor is an upbeat, energetic, and inspiring podcast filled with joy and laughter, wisdom, philosophies, and positive psychology.
During this powerful episode Sarah chats to Stephen, Steve, or Steph (it depends on the day!) J Whitton about everything that has led to him to now feeling:
“Positive about the future, having chosen the path of hope”
As you will discover, from a childhood where he felt lonely after the arrival of new siblings, to being a long, greasy haired teenager with spots and glasses, to supressing his pan-sexual curiosity, marrying and having a wonderful family to the pandemic and the crash of his 2 companies and his family life that led him to suicidal thoughts, Stephen really does give the listener a snapshot of his mental health journey right up to present day.
Together Sarah and Stephen discuss the importance of identifying with and being your true self, when stuff is supressed it causes health issues .. predominantly mental health issues. Which is why he founded [M]enable, a global movement for mental health support in the Automotive Sector which is male dominated and an arena he knows well having had a successful career spanning 35 years in the industry: from Salesman to Executive Director. He is a renowned authority on employee well-being to achieve results.
As he states on his website: [M]enable was created on the back of Stephen’s own struggles, with a clear purpose and mission – to change cultures in male dominated and performance driven businesses, enabling the Mental Health stigma to be removed. Wanting leaders to embrace the ethos that when people feel good about themselves, they perform better, Stephen’s mantra is:
“Positive employee outcomes = positive customer outcomes = positive business outcomes”.
This truly is an insightful, engaging, uplifting, powerful episode. One which will have your skin tingle and leave you laughing out loud in equal measure. Inspiring, engaging and oh so positive too!
