It's one of the longest running golf Tournaments around. Now in it's 35th year the Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tourney is getting set for another great year.

Randy Bachman is appearing Wednesday Jan. 16th at the Fabulous Fargo Theatre. 

Randy, one of the founding members of "The Guess Who" from Winnipeg, gives us some wonderful rock and roll stories from the past. He was on his way to Moorhead to see Buddy Holly when he while listening to then KXGO, got word of the plane crash that killed Buddy, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens.

We talked about his song "Prairie Town" that warms the hearts of many who live in the Midwest.

Elvis and Randy's song "Takin' Care of Business"

and his latest project "By George, By Bachman". Some of the greatest songs written by the "quiet" Beatle George Harrison. Songs during his Beatles era, solo career and even one from the Traveling Wilburys.

During our chat we got a few, for lack of a better term "Easter Eggs" that every Beatles and Harrison should try to catch; (One hint: listen for the opening chord of "A Hard Day's Night"

The title of the event says it all! Over the years The Celebration of Women and their music has awarded thousands of dollars to young high school women to help continue their passion of music and the arts.

It's a full 3 days of entertainment at various locations with the big show at the Stage at Island Part on the 19th.

Deb Jenkins gives us details and Gina Powers, who will be performing at the event, gave us a couple of songs on tonight's show!

The 6th Annual "Fight the Frost is Friday thru Sunday at the Fargodome. More than 30 inflatables games plus  Archery Tag and Blacklight; Dodgeball, 9 Square and Mini Golf will be held on the other two levels of FARGODOME..
