Hello, Sunshine! Valentine's Day is here an love is in the air. Well, kind of. It's a return to form after the Oliver saga has finally ended - with a big party that needs planned! Summer and Seth are getting to know each other, and Ryan and Marissa are being weird a moody, a first for them both. We watched Season 1, Episode 19 of The O.C., the "Heartbreak"

The epic Oliver saga comes to a much-needed conclusion, and for the love of God will someone have Seth make a decision already? Summer's favorite comic book - Betty and Veronica - unlocks some interesting ideas about the nature of Anna and Summer's character dynamic. It's not all highbrow on The OC Men, though, so don't worry. There's some fart jokes, too.

Furthering the trend from last episode, everyone is still acting like a maniac as the Oliver arc continues. We're introduced to the wonderful and hilarious Danny, whose subtle wit and gentle demeanor make everyone laugh. Meanwhile, Ryan makes a series of boneheaded decisions and Marissa is still oblivious to everything. Seth still can't make up his mind. Julie gets a job. Only Luke has the right idea of enjoying the sublte humor of Danny.

The gang hits the golf course at Palm Springs, and EVERYBODY IS INSANE Oliver is making Ryan act crazy, Anna is making Seth act crazy, Seth is making Summer act crazy, and as alwyas the only person acting normal is Luke.

This could be it. The greatest Luke episode of all time. Whether he's playing video games, playing guitar, singing at the top of his lungs, or just trying to remember his resolution to stop punching people, Luke has reached his fullest potential with this episode.

Also they do other stuff like go to a Rooney concert and Oliver gets busted for buying coke... but the important thing here is Luke!

It's New Years Eve in The O.C. and things are going bananas. We finally get a full-dose of punchable-villain Oliver, Ryan learns to say "I love you", long-lost sisters appear, and Sandy and Kirsten swing their way into an exciting 2004. At the end of this episode we're visited by a special guest! Josh Hatfield, co-host of the Portland CA Podcast, tells us why "The Countdown" is his favorite episode.
