Satan is a created being originally created by God as an Angel. Ezekiel 28

Describes how beautiful Satan was, God created him to be perfect in wisdom and beauty, a spectacle of flawlessness and gave him special capabilities in music and voice. He was an angel of high position and satan- called lucifer at the time, had favor with God.

But then things went wrong. Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 teach us that Satan started to think too highly of himself because …of all his gifts, he started to crave the honor that was bestowed on God for himself. We call this pride.

What is a disciple?

The definition of a disciple: Discipleship is the process of devoting oneself to a teacher to learn from and become more like them.

For Christians (in community) this refers to learning the teachings of Jesus in the scriptures and following His example in obedience through the power of the Holy Spirit. Discipleship not only involves the process of becoming a disciple but of making other disciples through teaching and evangelism.
