The Anointing and the Holy Spirit go hand in hand. The Holy Spirit supplies the anointing, the Holy Spirit has so much to do with the anointing that God puts on a person.

Remembering often…

Gives us direction for the future. We are able to recognize mistakes made in the past so that don’t repeat them and therefor we change directions in our lives as we remember past mistakes.

Remembering Gives us discernment because we are able to see details of the past that those who were going through a trial or circumstance did not see—because Afterall they were experiencing it. No time to evaluate when you are going through something.

Remember Allows us to have compassion. When we recognize our past mistakes, we tend to give grace and compassion as we recognize that those we often complain about--- at one time or another, we were just like them.

We are so obsessed right now with teaching principles, political principles, moral principles, educational principles, and while I agree that those are important, I believe we are neglecting a fundamental component that allows these things to work cohesively and that’s the Power of the Holy Spirit.

We have forgotten our need for the Holy Spirit because we have forgotten the Holy Spirit’s role in our lives.

Joy comes with obedience, and we stay obedient to what God is telling us and we experience His plan and will for our lives.
