I hope you have been blessed and challenged these last couple of weeks as we have been talking about the message God gave the Prophet Malachi to bring to His people, Israel.

Malachi’s warning was not just directed at the people in rebellion, but in this section that will serve as our text, Malachi is speaking to the priests.

This morning I want to talk to you for a few minutes about “The Armor of God.” If we don’t get this one piece, all the other pieces won’t have much effect in transforming us so that you can Live Your Life God’s Way.

A major stumbling block for people in this text, is the word “Submit.” What is so objectionable about this word? Most likely it has been used the wrong way.

It’s interesting that there is a movement or maybe more of a restlessness in both men and women that want to set aside formal “studies” and just get together to figure out this thing called life, but how are we supposed to figure out life if we don’t have the Word at the center of our fellowship?

It is not possible to live your live your life God’s way if you are only out to get what you want; selfishness is a major hindrance to a fulfilling life with God. But isn’t that exactly what society teaches us? The do-whatever-it-takes to get ahead mentality?

Talk about coming over to the house and Lucky goes wild barking… Bought a Sonic thing (gets a couple of free barks and then it will increase a slight shock). Sometimes he just won’t respond to correction.

My question is; in light of Ephesians 4, can the same thing be said of us as Christians in the local church? Are all of the components working and working well together?
