Today’s special guest, Richard Kind, is a renowned and beloved, multi-award winning actor whose exceptional body of work includes many iconic performances. 

On the big screen, you’ve seen him in dozens of movies including “Mr. Saturday Night”, “Hacks”, “Quicksand”, “The Station Agent”, “A Serious Man”, “The Producers”, “For Your Consideration”, “Argo”, “Tankhouse”, and “Wolfs”, to name just a few. 

And on television, he’s best remembered for playing “Paul Lassiter” in “Spin City”, “Joey Rathburn” in “Luck”, “Sam Meyers” in “Red Oaks”, “Aubrey James” in “Gotham”, “Cousin Andy” in “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “Captain Stan Yenko” in “East New York”, and of course, “Dr. Mark Devanow” on “Mad About You”, for which he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award. 

He’s won many prestigious awards for his work in “Andover”, “Auggie”, “A Serious Man”, “Hudson Falls”, “Detours”, and “Yes We Cannabis”.  

He’s also highly acclaimed for his voice work in iconic animated shows like “Tom & Jerry: The Movie”, “A Bug’s Life”, “Garfield: The Movie”, “Toy Story 3”, “Cars 1 and 2”, “Tom Sawyer”, “Inside Out”, “Big Mouth” and “American Dad”.   

And on Broadway, our guest has appeared in numerous shows including “The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife”, “The Producers”, “Sly Fox”, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, “Kiss Me Kate” and “The Big Knife”, for which he won a Drama Desk Award and was nominated for a Tony Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. 

And from December 11 to January 12, he’ll be starring on Broadway in Simon Rich’s brilliant play, “All In: Comedy About Love”.
