Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth Interview with Renowned Actor, Michael Nouri

About Harvey's guest:

Today’s special guest, Michael Nouri, is a renowned actor who’s brought us dozens of memorable performances in a prodigious career spanning almost 6 decades.

On the big screen, he’s appeared in numerous blockbuster movies including “Flashdance”, “The Imagemaker”, “Finding Forrester”, "The Terminal, “Boynton Beach Club”, "Last Holiday”, “Invincible”, "The Proposal", and of course, the popular cult film, “The Hidden”, which earned him numerous prestigious film festival awards. On television, we remember him as “Tom Conway” in “Somerset”, “Count Dracula” in “The Curse of Dracula”, “Kip Zakaris” in “Love and War”, “Elliot Hampton” in “The Young and the Restless”, “Dr. Neil Roberts” in “The O.C”, “Phil Grey” in “Damages”, “Caleb Cortland” in “All my Children”, “Bob Schwartz” in “Yellowstone”, and believe me, I’m just scratching the surface.

He’s appeared in dozens of iconic TV series including “Law & Order”, “Touched by an Angel”, "The West Wing", “Star Trek: Enterprise”, "CSI: New York", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", “NCIS”, “The Slap”, and most recently, he can be seen in the current season of everybody’s favourite new TV show, “The Pitt”. And for his performance as “Steve Kazlo” in “Search for Tomorrow”, he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series. He’s also appeared in some great TV movies and miniseries including “The Last Convertible”, “The Gangster Chronicles”, “Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story”, “Shattered Dreams”, “Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke”, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” and many more.

And he’s had an illustrious stage career as well. On Broadway, he appeared in “Forty Carats” opposite Julie Harris, and he co-starred in “Victor / Victoria” alongside Julie Andrews, and he also co-starred in the national touring production of “South Pacific”. His other stage credits include "Can Can" opposite Patti LuPone and "Camille Claudel" with Linda Eder.

And beyond all of that, our guest has a long record of community service. He’s an ambassador for Seeds of Peace, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the National Summit to Advance Education about Africa, and for many years he’s found time to mentor inner-city youth who want to become actors.
