“Keep yourself in the love of God” (Jude 1:21). How? By knowing and being obedient to His Word. The basis of faith is your love for God. It’s you standing on the virtue of God’s love, believing in God’s Word, and living in God’s Word. Faith without virtue love for God is nothing (1 Cor 13:1-13). Reciprocal love motivation is mandated in the Bible. “We love God because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Our virtue love for God is personal and based on His character and essence. God did not send you to handle His affairs. We were sent to lift up Christ, to re-present Christ. When you fail to focus on the divine solutions then you fail to remember the unfailing love and justice of God.
