Bretts also talks about her struggles about being a rockstar and one of the first female bands to travel around the world. As a band was ending their tours, Brett also had to do make decisions in what was the next chapter in her life.

Liset and Andrew bring on a wonderful guest speaker Marlyn B. Marlyn and Liset have been friends since middle school. Liset felt to bring on Marlyn to share her story about chance to advance. Marlyn talks about her journey to overcome several barriers that ultimately lead her to noticing the need for more involvement in our communities. This journey has ignited her passion to achieve a masters in public administration. Listeners will learn from Marlyn to take the risk and don't have fear in what you want to do in your life.
Liset and Andrew are thrilled to have meet Steven a new MSW student at USC. We interview Steven about the emotional journey of being new student and what lead him to becoming a social work student. Steven shares his story from being in a dark place to bouncing back into finding his new passion in the field of social work. Stevens brings great energy, positivity, and resiliency in his new chapter of life. As He utilizes friends and family as resources to help him to pave the path to his success in achieving his goals and starting new beginnings as a social work student at the USC MSW program.
