Haunted or Hoax episodes

October 06S7 E7. Hoia Baciu Forest
How fitting that it is Hoa Hoa Hoa season and we are talking about the Hoia-Baciu Forest in Romania! Get it, vampires? Twilight? You’ll get it when you listen because this place has an eery meadow. Is glittery skin involved? Not exactly but we have some flashing orbs and vanishing little girls who come back years later suspiciously unaged. Throw in some aliens and we basically have the sequel no one asked for. So buckle up!

September 29S7 E6. West Virginia Penitentiary
This week, we are heading to West Virginia and not for a relaxing mountain getaway. We are going to prison. Specifically the West Virginia Penitentiary. We have tiny cells, massive riots, and an electric chair built by an inmate because apparently that was a job you could have. We even have a brief Charles Manson appearance.

September 22S7 E5. Dudley Town
Happy First Official Day of Fall! What better way to celebrate than talking about a cursed ghost town? We are in Connecticut which seems fitting since all things Autumn are now connected to that state thanks to the Gilmore Girls. But we are actually talking about the Dudley family. Less fast talking and coffee loving, more creepy woods and suspicious death stories. We even have a throwback to London Tower! All of this to put you in the mood for the autumn cool down.

September 15S7 E4. High Life Ski Club
Stop us if you’ve heard this one before. Two psychic brothers hold a seance in a ski club. No? Well great, this week we discuss the former home of the Eddy brothers. Mediums that captivated Vermont and put Chitteden on the map as Spirit Capital of the Universe. Yes, the universe. But was it all smoke and mirrors or were the two the real deal? And did they leave anything behind for those now using the home as a getaway? Let’s find out together!

September 08S7 E3. Iolani Palace
This week, we’re heading to Hawaiʻi’s ʻIolani Palace, where more than a century of history has left behind some seriously spooky stories. We have apparitions, a cigar loving queen, and one ghost who apparently knows a thing or two about losing his head…

September 01S7 E2. The Forbidden City
Episode two and we are already international! We are talking about The Forbidden City in China this week where we learn about ghost culture in China, get a history lesson in Dynasties, and - you'll never believe it- a woman in black. She travels all over the world! I'd have a snappy remark about something hilarious we probably said in this episode but honestly, I cannot remember a thing we said. I'll listen with ya'll and get back to you! Until then, enjoy this weeks episode!

August 25S7 E1. Rockcliffe Mansion
Hey, how ya'll doin? Sorry we ghosted you in season Six. The spring was a lot. The summer was more. But now we are back! Kicking season 7 with some hot historical goss coming from the Rockcliffe Mansion in Missouri. We've got affairs and scandal and histor-tea galore with this one. Along with a former owner who just refuses to move out, even in the afterlife. We are so happy to talk ghosts and gossip with you all again! Here's to a fantastic fall season!

April 07S6 E6. Castle of Good Hope
Pack your bags, we’re heading to Cape Town. The views are gorgeous, the history is messy, and the castle looks way too cheerful for what went down inside. We’ve got colonial drama, questionable decisions, a dungeon called the Dark Hole (subtle), and a governor who may have been taken out by karma mid-power trip.

March 31S6 E5. The Black Forest
Into the woods, it's time to go! Well actually the Black Forest. One of the most mysterious and mythical places in the world as far as we are concerned. We have moss women, headless horsemen, a terrifyingly tall man, and of course poor pronunciation and bad geography. Germany has some fascinating paranormal and cryptid tales lurking in those trees.

March 24S6 E4. The Greenbriar Ghost
Today’s episode features a short marriage, a suspicious death, a doctor who wrote “everlasting faint” on a death certificate, and a murder trial that took a wild turn. We’re heading to Greenbrier County, West Virginia, where the history is dramatic, the investigation is questionable, and this story somehow ends up involving an exhumation, a courtroom, and a situation that no one saw coming.
