Claren, Fence, Mick, Tharivol, and Crenshaw battle a group of meazels in order to save Mouse, Field Mouse....

Our heroes leveled up to 7th and we rolled hit points. Yeah! Then…. they searched for treasure in Serket’s little hiding hole off the temple cavern…. While finding treasure is wonderful, things go sideways when something with a garrote reaches out of the shadows and grabs Mouse, Field Mouse.

Claren hears not only one but two voices inside her head. Crenshaw’s voice tells her not to reveal anything to the serpentine voice that is winding its way into Claren’s consciousness. Claren tries to ignore the voice, but banter is exchanged. The voice belongs to Serket, the nagi, and she is desperate to learn what Cershaw has done and where he has gone and what the party knows.

Rain poured down onto the old temple mound that the heroes had finally reached after their journey through the sea cave. Six statues covered in vines and two buried in rubble rest on the ground around the base of the temple mound; each depicts a different humanoid creature trembling in servitude to whatever is on the mound.

Up on the mound’s platform are four other obsidian statutes of fearsome creatures holding basins out over a wide pit in the center of the platform.

The heroes shelter from the downpour....

Our heroes leave the tiny magic hut Mick had conjured for them to rest in… turn up a corridor with frescos and carvings on the walls… enter a large open room where morning rain was pouring in …. However, as they enter the room two coral golems detached themselves from the walls and attack....

The party was pausing on a small island within a large cavern with tall ceilings. Lengths of chain were fastened to a large rock on near the south end of the small island. Fence and Mick went to investigate – A massive beast that appeared to be a marriage of feline and fish sprang out of the water and attacked!

The party swims to the cavern to the east. They avoid the waiting bull sharks and discover a large cavern with a small island in the middle.

The yuan-ti pureblood priestess and two yuan-ti abominations pick up the unconscious Seithr and retreat towards the southwall. They disappear from sight behind the statue there.

T-lego takes massive amounts of damage from abominations’ arrows and other attacks. She reverts to Katlego, but casts polymorph again and races towards the western end of the room. The new T-lego engages in combat with more of the snake-creatures and tries to see where the monsters have taken Seithr.

The yuan-ti malisons swing swords and bite with their fangs. The pure blood priestesses hurl spells. And the giant serpent swallows Varram, the purple robed dwarf, and strikes at Immortalia.

Caleni and Katlego transform into tyrannosaurus rexes: C-rex and T-lego. It’s good to have a druid and a bard with a polymorph spell!

From a room to the party’s north, a fair maiden with soft greenish skin and elegantly braided seaweed hair appears. The party, particularly Fence, is suspicious of the young woman. She reveals that a naga, Serket, has been stirring up trouble in the sea caves. The maiden tells some rather dodgy stories about why she herself is in these caves and exactly what she has done with previous sailors she has met....
