Have You Ever One-dered?? episodes

  • HBD America, Part Two
Back to more America trivia fun, though some of these do ask for some additional critical thought.

It’s not super great to insult someone on their bday,

  • So Much
Perhaps it might be encouraging to you to consider the way the idea of abundance interacts with your life. Or the ways that it could?

Our SES continues, giving us the chance to do just that.

    Don’t take intentionality for granted,

  • “A Hymn”
It’s a Song of the Week!

I am so excited to present to you this brand new music-centered feature on the show.

Two Years Ago we had a blast (my word) listening to 300 albums and discussing them together. Ever since I have known that we were going to get back to holding space to talk specifically about music on the pod, regularly.

And just about a year after we started that massive undertaking, the time is now!!

So instead of album after album, we’re going to talk about ONE SONG AT A TIME.

    -

This week’s FIFTY-SIXTH installment song (Year Two!) is from Artist: Idles

    And is called “A Hymn.”

It is from their third studio album: Ultra Mono

You can listen to the album version of the song here: https://youtu.be/BJHn6ab-DtE?s...

And you can watch the quietly beautiful, tear-inducing video here: https://youtu.be/eYGtGcJ8rKw?s...

Plus you can almost always grab a preview on my IG @whereschloe; it’s up on the profile.

There is no hierarchy; these songs are going to be in basically a random order, chosen for reasons that I’ll most likely expound upon within the episode. Along with an array of background, inspirations, time frame, album order, cultural context, related themes, personal experiences, etc.

Any genre artist decade that I would listen to is up for grabs and who’s to know what will be next and why? ;)

    Remember your favorites.
    Discover something new.

One song of the week at a time for however long works.

I’m ELATED that you’re along for the ride,

  • Eastern Island Etiquette
A little shorter today, thanks in advance for understanding.

Not all the eastern islands (which of course is relative depending on where you currently are), but a particularly island nation whose ideals might benefit us all.

    Hang in there,

A few directives that might be helpful to consider as we move into another installment of our SES (Summer Encouragement Series)

  • Need An Interesting Job?
Change is a given in life, and since it comes to us all, there are lots and lots of ppl who are going to experience it on a professional front.

    More than once!

When’s the last time you thought about what you’d like to do? There are some pretty interesting careers still available out there-
