Oh it’s a major endeavor, alright.

I’m going to try to listen to at least 10 albums a week for the rest of the year!

Yeah, I’m not joking.

Media, art, and entertainment publication Paste Magazine came out with a list of the 300 best albums and we’re going to go through them all! Well, I’m going to.

And then we’re going to talk about it! Great tracks, themes, history, info, related artists, cultural context, personal experiences, they’re all going to play a part in these reviews.

Totally stoked because I love music. (And a little intimidated! Because this is a lot to process)

There’s just about 30 weeks left in this year and if we do an episode per week featuring 10 albums each, we’ll just about finish by the end of 2024.

This week features Queen, Ice Cube, The Raincoats and seven other artists to kick off this massive undertaking. Hmm, who else could there be?

I admit that my perspective may be lacking when it comes to platonic relationships. Feel free to share yours if you’d like :)

On Route 66!!

I have wanted to do this road trip for so so so long.

And one day I will =)

In the meantime, here’s a great start to the list of attractions you could stop and see, in large cities and small towns, from the Bean in Chicago to a leaning water tower in Texas and all the way to the Santa Monica Pier in California.

Pick a reliable vehicle that doesn’t mind the heat, and get to driving! What an incredible way to make your way across 2/3 of the US.
