Ex-Interim head coach of the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors, Miano, is synonymous with Hawaii football. Now the Executive Director of the Hula Bowl, Director of Football for the Polynesian Bowl and partner with the Aloha, Polynesian, and Ohana Classics, and runs the GPA Football Academy Polynesian Showcase. We’ll talk about his storied history in Hawaii football from high above the world-famous Aloha Stadium.

Pro Surfer Makua Rothman joins us for cocktails and conversation at Shorefyre Fresh Grill and Bar at the Waikiki International Market Place. Rothman recently dropped in on a monster wave at Jaws (estimated at 100 feet -- the biggest wave ever ridden in Hawaii). He comes from a very creative family, and learned at a very young age to play piano, guitar, harp and percussion from his father Ron Artis and mother Victoria who were both Motown musicians.      He’s shared the stage with with Jack Johnson, Mick Fleetwood, Booker T.       

He recently stared in NBC’s “The Voice” which ended in a shocking upset — SPOILER alert.
