We're wrapping up 11 weeks of successful fundraising for COVID-19 relief in Hawaii. Join our conversation with Henry Kapono (Henry Kapono Foundation), Shelley Wilson (Wilson Care Group), and Ron Mizutani (Hawaii FoodBank). They're the leaders of the charities we've been supporting. We ask about how they're helping our community and how we can continue to support them in what they do. We've raised thousands of dollars to help our neighbors in Hawaii. Mike shares some behind the scenes information about the making of his new album, including using old techniques to get a new sound with his band. Living Room Live – Aloha Together continues to support Hawaii families. This week, we present a special edition to support our ohana by raising funds for Hawaii Foodbank. With an economic downturn, closures and shorter business hours, and increased unemployment, demand for Hawaii Foodbank food assistance has increased by nearly 60 percent and continues to rise.   Join Good Morning Hawaii’s Maleko McDonnell and Star 101.9’s Flash as they host appearances by Anuhea, Taimane Gardner, Jah Maoli, Transviolet, and Shawn Garnett. Living Room Live — #AlohaTogether is a COVID-19 relief benefit concert for Hawaii. Entertainers come together in support of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.   Featuring Henry Kapono and friends, as they perform a benefit concert for the Henry Kapono Foundation, which offers grants to musicians who are struggling amid canceled gigs during the pandemic. Kapena, Sistah Robi, Barry Flannagan, Alx Kawakami, and some surprise guests perform on "Living Room Live -- Aloha Together" this Saturday, May 16th at 6 PM.  Let's #AlohaTogether with Maleko & Flash!
