Party on the WKND, and sometimes on the weekday! This episode features the artists from the Island 98.5 Music Awards happening June 8, 2019, including hit reggae artist Kelandi who performs his smash "Party on the WKND," and breakout artist Kamaka Camarillo who performs his Bruno Mars cover in Hawaiian! While practicing law, Candace Smith won the title of Miss Ohio USA. Since then, she's earned her B.A. in Psychology, made several TV appearances as a Life/Love coach, including on Bravo TV's "Millionaire Matchmaker" and WE TV’S “Million Dollar Matchmaker.” She's a comedian trained at Upright Citizen's Brigade and has performed stand up on Spike TV, and TBS's "Conan." She's also starred in the films "My Father Die," "Gimme Shelter," and "End of Watch. Recently she guest-starred on “Hawaii Five-O,” “Heroes,” “Joey,” & “Entourage” and CBS' "Survivor."  We talk about those life experiences, why Flash needs a life coach, and drink fresh cocktails from Viaggio courtesy of Bar Manager, Jared.

Streetlight Cadence is an alternative folk-pop sensation. Jonathon, Jesse, Brian, and Ben began as street performers in 2010 in Honolulu, HI, playing for tourists while earning grocery money as college students. After winning two successive Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Alternative Album of the Year and a handful of Battle of the Band competitions, Streetlight Cadence decided it was time to leave Hawai'i for the mainland to pursue more opportunities in the industry. Now based out of Los Angeles, Streetlight Cadence star in their reality TV show "Will Play for Food" and are about to debut their new album this June. Rich from Dave and Busters mixes up whiskey drinks, and we all learn to appreciate the accordion... kind of.

Maleko & Flash host a live performance with Nathaniel Rateliff, an American singer and songwriter based in Denver, whose influences are described as folk, Americana, and vintage rhythm & blues. Rateliff has garnered attention with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, the soulful R&B combo he formed in 2013. This episode was recorded in front of a live studio audience at iHeartRadio Honolulu and performed live on the radio on Star 101.9 KUCD-FM.
