Former Iowa offensive coordinator Don Patterson is back for another season of analyzing Hawkeye football on the Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast.

Patterson, who also was the head coach for Western Illinois from 1999 to 2009, made his 2023 season debut on Monday.

He addressed multiple topics during the 70-minute radio interview, including how he thinks Cade McNamara will impact the Iowa offense, and what to expect from Utah State in the season opener on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.
