Former Iowa offensive coordinator Don Patterson made his usual Monday appearance on the Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast to talk Hawkeye football and more.

The Iowa football team enters the first of two bye weeks this season with a 3-1 record, and with an extra week to prepare for its next game against Ohio State on Oct. 5 in Columbus, Ohio.

Iowa defeated Minnesota 31-14 in this past Saturday's Big Ten opener in Minneapolis after trailing 14-7 at halftime.
