It could be a fiery day, with Theresa May’s cabinet meeting to disagree on Brexit, whilst China and the US launch new tariffs against each other. But, on a brighter note, as Phil Dobbie discusses with NAB’s Rodrigo Catril, the Fed, ECB and the BoE seem a little more hawkish, indicating that, whatever is going on in the background, their economies seem to be faring well – and they’d like investors to acknowledge that.
