Hayom Yom
Rabbi Nachum of Chernobyl became physically affected simply from answering Amen yehei shmei rabba ๐โจ At first, it seems impossible. But Chassidus teaches that G-dliness is not meant to stay only in the mind it is meant to enter the heart, the soul, and even the body. Just as fear, stress, and pain can leave an imprint on us โค๏ธโ๐ฉน, holiness, joy, and connection can leave an imprint too. Prayer is not only words. Torah is not only information. When we are truly present, one Amen, one niggun, or one moment of davening can reach places inside us that words cannot ๐ซ Maybe the lesson I take is this, if the body can remember fear, the soul can teach the body to remember joy ๐โจ
