Yud-Beis and Yud-Gimmel Tammuz celebrate the liberation of the Frierdiker Rebbe ✨ But he never saw his freedom as only his own. Instead, he asked Chassidim to gather in farbrengens, strengthen one another, set fixed times for Torah learning , and bring Chassidus into everyday life.

The Frierdiker Rebbe taught that true freedom is not only leaving our own exile ❤️‍🩹 fear, self-doubt, old habits, or loneliness but also helping others find freedom too. By sharing Torah, encouraging another person, and spreading light, we become partners in redemption 💫

Maybe Yud-Gimmel Tammuz is this when one Jew becomes freer, kinder, and more connected, that light reaches everyone around them ✨ The question is not only, “What prison am I ready to leave behind?” but also, “What light am I meant to bring into the world?” 🔥

The Alter Rebbe teaches that “the footsteps of a person are directed by G-d” 👣✨ Meaning, we are not where we are by accident. Every place, every person, and every moment may carry a purpose 💛 A Jew is a shaliach, a messenger of Hashem. Through Torah and mitzvos, we bring light, kindness, and holiness into the places we go Sometimes the mission is big, and sometimes it is simply one conversation, one act of kindness, or one person who needed us that day ❤️

Maybe the question is not, “Why am I here?” but “What is Hashem asking of me here?” 💫 Perhaps our feet arrived because our soul was already sent there first ✨.

Today’s Hayom Yom teaches that supporting Torah 📖✨ brings blessing and protection to our children and families. By helping Torah continue through tzedakah, learning, or supporting those who study we become partners in something holy. And even for those who are single or do not yet have children, this teaching still speaks deeply 💫 Perhaps it is also about caring for our inner child ❤️‍🩹 the part of us that still needs healing, guidance, and connection to Hashem. Maybe a lesson in this is when we support Torah, we are not only building future generations we are also nurturing the soul within us and helping the hidden parts of ourselves come home ✨.

One of the reasons Hashem loved Avraham Avinu so deeply 💙 was because he didn’t only serve Hashem himself he helped others connect too. The word “yetzaveh” means not only to command, but to create connection ✨

Avraham passed incredible tests, yet his greatest quality was bringing other people closer to Hashem. He shared his light, his faith, and his heart 🫀. real greatness is not only how high we climb, but how many people we help lift along the way 💫 Sometimes the holiest thing we can be is a bridge between another soul and Hashem. 💙✨

The Rebbeim taught that “the beginning is wedged into the end, and the end into the beginning” 🔄✨ everything is connected like a circle. Yet at the same time, they emphasized something practical, order matters. The Baal Shem Tov, the Maggid, and the Alter Rebbe all lived with structure and discipline. Because spirituality is not only inspiration it needs a vessel. Just as a river needs banks to carry its water, the soul needs order to carry its light. Order doesn’t limit holiness; it helps it shine in everyday life 💫.

A Kohen may not eat bikurim (first fruits) outside Jerusalem.

When bringing bikurim, the owner recites “Arami oveid avi”, recounting Hashem’s kindness from Yaakov through Yetzias Mitzrayim and asking for continued blessing. (Women are exempt.)

Some mitzvos are bigger than a single moment ✨ They are called makif mitzvos mitzvos that create a spiritual atmosphere around everything else we do. Tzedakah is one of them 💰. That’s why we often give tzedakah before another mitzvah, it fills the act with kindness and generosity ❤️ A makif is like a hug 🫂 It surrounds you and lifts what you’re doing higher. But the goal is not only the surrounding light. The makif enters the p’nimi. The inner part of the mitzvah itself. The kindness of tzedakah becomes woven into the action, giving it more warmth, life, and depth 💫 And Torah is an even greater makif ✨ an all-encompassing light that reaches beyond what we can fully grasp. Maybe the lesson is this what surrounds a mitzvah shapes what happens inside it 💛 When Torah and kindness surround our actions, they enter the p’nimi, and even the smallest mitzvah becomes connected to something infinite ⚡️✨

A Jewish groan is never wasted ❤️‍🩹 The Rebbe Maharash taught that even a sigh that comes from pain is precious before Hashem. And when that groan comes from the soul from wanting to be closer, to grow, to return it becomes a powerful act of teshuvah ✨ The story of the Rebbe and the contractor carries the same message. The man said, “I’m dirty.” The Rebbe answered, “Come as you are, but come.” Maybe that’s the message of Gimmel Tammuz the Rebbe is not waiting for us to become perfect. He is asking us to show up. No matter how much dust we carry, the spark is still there 💫 Sometimes one honest sigh, one sincere longing, and one step toward connection is already the beginning of coming home ✨

The Alter Rebbe teaches that before we even begin to daven, we should first accept upon ourselves the mitzvah of “וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ” loving our fellow as ourselves ✨ Because real prayer doesn’t begin with words, it begins with the heart ❤️ Ahavat Yisrael is the gateway to standing before Hashem When we let go of ego, resentment, and separation, and make room for love, compassion, and connection, we become vessels for deeper tefillah. The message is simple today but powerful before asking Hashem to hear us, we learn to hear and care for one another. And through the merit of loving another Jew, our prayers rise higher and are accepted Above 🙏💫.

Take a masser Sheini to Jerusalem and eat it there or redeem it for money +25% if far. Only in Israel during Temple times, and the money can’t be used for anything but food.
