‎“אָדָם כִּי יָמוּת בְּאֹהֶל” “When a man dies in a tent” 🤍 teaches that Torah truly becomes part of a person when they are willing to give something up for it. Not physically, G-d forbid but by sometimes choosing what matters most over what feels easiest ❤️‍🔥 Real mesirat nefesh is often quiet ✨ Sometimes it looks like leaving a comfortable conversation to go learn 📚 Saying no to constant scrolling 📱 Being present in davening even when your mind feels distracted 🙏 Choosing patience over reacting 💭 Learning for ten minutes instead of saying “I’ll do it later” ⏳ or showing up to a class when you’d rather stay comfortable. The deepest growth often asks for small sacrifices And sometimes becoming who we want to be starts with choosing the meaningful thing over the convenient thing ✨

The Alter Rebbe taught something really deep ✨ in physical things, being happy with your lot is one of the greatest qualities. Not constantly chasing more, comparing, or feeling lacking 💫 But spiritually, it’s the opposite ❤️‍🔥 If a person becomes too comfortable and says, “I’m fine where I am,” growth can stop 🌱 We are meant to keep growing in Torah, kindness, davening, and connection to Hashem

Maybe today it's telling us to be grateful for what we have but never stop growing into who we can become 💛✨

‎“וּבֵרַכְךָ ה׳ אֱלֹקֶיךָ בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה” 🤍✨ Hashem blesses us “in what you do” Meaning, we still have to make effort 💼📖 show up, work, try, and build. But today’s hayom Yom teaches that our effort is only the vessel (kli). The bracha itself comes from Hashem 💫

And like in Mayim Rabim “מַיִם רַבִּים לֹא יוּכְלוּ לְכַבּוֹת אֶת הָאַהֲבָה” 🌊❤️‍🔥, the worries, pressure, and stress of life may feel overwhelming but they do not have the final say. We do our hishtadlus, but we also trust 🙏. I take a lesson as this, make the vessel but keep it clean 🤍 Be honest, kind, and aligned with Torah values. Because blessing is not only about how hard we work but how we build the container for it ✨

A chalalah can’t eat Terumah or the kohen’s share 🚫.

And a kohen’s daughter who married a non-kohen loses that right too, even if she’s later divorced or widowed.

“They went down to the pit alive” ❤️‍🩹 sounds heavy but hidden inside is hope 🌱 Sometimes people can feel spiritually stuck, disconnected, or far away and not even realize how much they’ve drifted. But the sons of Korach teach us something powerful, as long as someone is alive, teshuva is still possible ✨ Even in the pit, they found a way back. Maybe lesson is this if there is still breath, there is still hope 🤍 No pit is final. No distance is permanent. No person is too far gone 💫 Sometimes teshuva is simply remembering who you are underneath everything and believing it’s not too late to come home ✨.

If you’re not circumcised, Terumah and other holy kohen foods are off-limits 🚫 – even if you’re circumcised but tried to look uncircumcised.

And if you’re a kohen but ritually impure, you gotta wait till you’re clean before touching Terumah.

“Worry in a person’s heart yash’chena” 🤍❤️‍🩹 can mean two things

Sometimes don’t let the worry settle too deeply in your mind 🌧️ Because when thoughts sit alone too long, they grow heavier, louder, and begin to feel bigger than they are 💭 And sometimes share it with someone safe. The Tzemach Tzedek explains that the “other” is someone who truly feels with you Someone who does not just hear your pain but carries a little of it beside you ❤️ Maybe the deepest lesson is this, not every burden is meant to be held alone 🫀Sometimes healing begins the moment someone quietly says, “I’m here with you.” 💫

Only kohanim and their family can eat the kohen’s tithe, Terumah. If you’re not a kohen, don’t touch it 🚫, and don’t use Temple stuff for yourself either. Even if you work for a kohen as a servant or tenant, you still can’t eat it, it’s kohen-only food.

People sometimes wonder, How can I feel connected to the Rebbe if I never met him? ✨ The Rebbe explained that real connection comes through learning and living the teachings 📖Through maamarim, sichos, Tehillim 🙏, farbrengens, and growing through the Rebbe’s Torah, the relationship becomes real 💫 Because when you spend time with someone’s teachings, they slowly shape how you see life. Their words stay with you. Guide you. Challenge you. Comfort you. Maybe closeness is not only about physical nearness 💛Sometimes connection is built by carrying someone’s wisdom with you and letting it slowly shape who you become 🌱✨

When you bring in the harvest, start with the first fruits for the kohen🧺, then give him terumah, then set aside 1/10 for the Levi, and keep the last 1/10 to enjoy in Jerusalem. Gotta keep it in that order switch it up and you’re breaking the rule, even though the tithes still count.

Maybe the words you learn today are the ones your soul has been waiting for. ✨💙🫶

The Rebbe Maharash taught something really honest about the yetzer hara ❤️‍🩹, ✨it is not always obvious. Sometimes it looks like a fox 🦊 clever, subtle, hard to notice. And sometimes… it can even look holy A person may suddenly feel inspired to do something spiritual , but if it distracts them from the avoda they actually need in that moment 💭🙏 that too can be the animal soul, just dressed differently. And honestly, that feels very personal. Sometimes our biggest distractions are not bad things they are “good” things that quietly help us avoid the harder thing our soul truly needs

Maybe the question is this

Is this helping me grow… or helping me avoid what I really need right now?

We are said to be living in the “footsteps of Mashiach” 👣✨ a time moving toward redemption, even if we cannot fully see it yet 🌍💫 And because of that, this reminds us don’t only focus on yourself 💙 Check in on people, Care about another person’s struggles ❤️‍🩹 Help someone reconnect to themselves, to Torah , to Hashem, to hope. Because teshuva is not only about mistakes it’s also about coming home after feeling lost 💭 Maybe redemption is not only something we wait for ✨ Maybe we help bring it closer through kindness, care, and not letting each other walk alone.
