 1. Locked on to Jesus - vs. 1-2 

1. Jesus went in place of, and now goes before God on our behalf! 
   1. 1. Walk towardJesus 
      2. Discover Him - Romans 5:8 
      3. He is Lord! He has Authority 
         1. In His teaching 
         2. Over the waves 
         3. It was given as agift 
         4. To execute judgement 
2. Linked together with Jesus- vs. 3-4 
   1. Jesus has given us commands to obey - John 14:15 
      1. Walk together with Jesus - “...I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20b 
      2. Will of God - We are transformed - Romans 12:2 
      3. We come to know him by keeping his commands - 1 Corinthians 8:3 
3. Live like Jesus - vs. 6 
   1. Jesus called His followers to teach 
      1. Duplicate - Walk as Jesuswalked 
      2. Disciple - Matthew 28:19-20 
      3. Do things for Jesus, because we love Him! 

“The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” 1 John 2:6

I. The Church is glorious BECAUSE Christ is the Head

• Jesus fulfills God’s Purpose

• Savior of chief sinners

B. Saved are subject to Christ

Why? Love is the reason!

To Walk with God 

To Walk – Agree!

Place, Path, Pace

1.       The Place

    Goal…is to…walk by faith to Heaven

    I John 1:7

  Abel - Worshiped God

  Enock – Walked with God (Heb 11:5 – Gen 5:21-24

  Noah – Worked for God

“In Holy Fear”

  Faith will: 

         Make you look crazy

         Isolate you from culture

         Draw you closer to God

1) Faith is essential – Heb 11:6

2) Faith involves the Invisible -Heb 11:27

-Romans 1:20

-Colossians 1:15

-I Timothy 1:17

3) Faith is not optional

4) Faith is Rational -Heb 11:1-3

“Faith is the present confidence that God will fulfill His promise in

the future because He has proven faith in the past.”

5) Faith Is Influential—

“Bible stories are not here to tell you what God once did. They are

to tell you what God does.”

• Surprised by what faith does?

• Surprised by who made the list?

• Surprised by who tops the list?

The Relational Triangle is described as such; the "UP" part of the triangle = to know God, the 'IN" part is to love one another and the "OUT" part is carrying to the World. 
Know God, Love One Another, Carrying it to the World.

It all begins with prayer. Learning to pray until you see something happening. God wants your fellowship and doesn't want a casual request.
