Laney interviews Courtney, @leecourtney_, who works as an explosives detection K9 handler and trainer. She shares a ton of insight about the day to day of a canine handler & trainer, and shares stories from her life working with dogs. She comments on a variety of topics and is very candid about the real danger she faces every day. Courtney is a true dog lover who lives an incredible life, working and training dogs who live and breathe their job. Ever wanted to pester the agent at the airport with the detection dog? Laney speaks with Jenny @chesneythecorgi about her experience raising Military Working Dog puppies for the Department of Defense in the USA. Jenny shares her story of raising MMontauk and SSamba, two Belgian Malinois. She tells listeners all about what it was like to make this sacrifice for her country, and give these dogs up to do the job they were made for. Jenny also speaks for a short time in the first part of the episode about her personal dogs, a Pembrooke Welsh Corgi and a German Shorthaired Pointer.

Laney does a shorter podcast on two topics. First, she discusses her experience using her GSD as an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). Second, she discusses some dog Instagram current events. Specifically, she focuses on individuals who have bred their dogs and shared the process on Instagram- whether purpose-bred litters or accidental litters. Where is the responsibility? Should large accounts educate others? Should people stop criticizing?

Laney is joined by the mother of a Ferrari- rotten Spaten the German Shepherd Dog. Spaten is the current #1 GSD in NADD dock diving, he took 2nd place at the barn hunt 2019 Grand National, and has a full serving of alphabet soup when it comes to his many other titles in a variety of dog sports (rally, trick dog, FCAT, and more). Hollie has triumphed with Spaten as he grew from a wild puppy into the top performer she has created. And if you think behind every great dog there is an even better handler, you would be right. Hollie shares so much wonderful insight into the world of BARN HUNT, dog sports, and dog ownership in general, in addition to her personal life. She even shares fantastic dog dental care tips. Laney has guest Alex on to talk about how she trains and rides racehorses. Alex grew up in Charlottesville riding horses competitively, and eventually became an exercise rider and trainer for racehorses. She has ridden at Belmont, Saratoga, and seen Triple Crown winner Justify.
