A deep dive into the world of service dogs! Laney sits down with Tristan, who has Yagi, a black German Shepherd who works primarily as a mobility / medical alert / some psychiatric service dog. Tristan has so much great information about the world of service dogs, whether owner trained or from an organization. He shares it all, and tons of personal stories too about what it’s like to be a service dog user.

Laney sits down with Holly of @midwestcanines to talk about her three rescue dogs and their lives together. Holly has two Dobermans and one Border Collie, and spends time talking about her work with each dog. She pays particular attention to the topics of training tools like e-collars, off leash reliability, and public access with your dog. Holly is a bright and kind person with lots of advice to dog owners, especially those looking toward the rescue world.

Laney speaks with Elena about her history with horses, her fateful trip to save a starving, filthy German Shepherd, and the journey they began together. Marv weighed just 45 lbs when she pulled him from the shelter, with ear infections and no knowledge of stairs to boot. As Marv became more comfortable, Elena had to rise to the challenge of his reactivity and separation anxiety. This is a touching story of a girl who took a chance on a dog and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Laney talks with Cassie of @astroandangus about her two gorgeous boys. Cassie has worked for years to overcome littermate syndrome in her dogs, with separation anxiety especially. The girls also talk about the use of CBD oil, switching to raw feeding, balanced training & the use of e collars... and so much more. They also alienate dog breed communities (ha-ha). This is a great episode full of laughs and being honest about raising two puppies at once.
