    Firstly, Happy Juneteenth. In honor of the day I thought it was only fitting to discuss generational curses. As Black Americans, and all allies of humanity and freedom celebrate liberation from the horrific and violent atrocity that was American slavery, it is important to acknowledge that individually we still have a ways to go in the realm of reaching freedom. Therefore, it's important to examine the our often unspoken tether, that is generational curses, in order to heal not only ourselves but our families, communities and the rest of the world.
