What are some lesser-known signs of narcissistic abuse that people often overlook?
The lesser-known signs of narcissistic abuse are subsequently the one that occur subtly and gradually and have the most detrimental impact. Because of the subtle nature of behaviours such as isolation, love-bombing, as well as gaslighting and guilt-tripping, these behaviours go unrecognised as the behaviour itself is subtle. A narcissist will gradually condition their victim to accept these behaviours so that they essentially become used to it.
A Narcissist will initially overwhelm their victim with love, affection, and attention in what is referred to as love-bombing so as to gain their trust and admiration. However, this phase is often followed by devaluation, where the narcissist criticises, devalues, or ignores the victim, causing confusion and emotional distress. The manipulative behavioural tactic of gaslighting involves the narcissist making their victim doubt their own thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. This ultimately culminates in the victim questioning their very sanity and reality. To make their victim completely dependent upon them, a narcissist will gradually seek to isolate their victims from friends, family, or support networks in order to maintain control over them. By limiting their social connections, the narcissist can increase the victim's dependence on them and make it harder for the victim to seek help or escape the abusive relationship

Finding true love
Destined life
Loving yourself means being thankful for your body, your mind, your soul, your feelings and emotions, your unique way of seeing the world, your way of interacting with others, and your way of being in the world.
Loving yourself means loving absolutely everything about yourself: the light, the dark, and all the shades in between. It is saying to the universe: look at me, here I am, this is all that I have to offer, all that I am, all of this is me.
And then, after all is said and visible, after taking a good look at yourself in your entirety, it means deciding to befriend, accept, trust, enjoy, protect, grow, and nurture all that you have seen.
To me, that is what loving yourself really means.
How magical it is to think of you as a complete and self-loving human being, loving yourself is a never-ending journey. Whether you accept your flaws or not, whether you show compassion for yourself or take good care of yourself or not, if self-love is what pulls you forward, that is all you need. And if you don’t at times, even that is okay. Self-love never goes anywhere – it’s always there, ready for you to go back

Narc always gave a way to exert control over others, gain desired attention, or boost the narcissist's reputation
What inspires lying? Simply put, the NPD lies in order to inflate his or her own self-esteem
How does a narcissist steal from you?
Your identity Through tactics such as gaslighting and love-bombing, a narcissist will make you question everything about yourself that you once were so sure of. They separate you from your intuition to the point where you become reliant on them to tell you who you are.
Narcissists steal your personality, mannerisms, words, your life stories, your interests, your style, and even attempt to embody the energy and talents they do not possess that make you special

What is covert manipulation and what does it look like in a relationship?
manipulation is done to control a victim without their knowledge.
It is the systematic breaking down of a person’s decision making, traits, likes, wants and needs to destroy who that person is.
The victim thinks this person cares and loves them.
This is not the case.
What it is all about is control and domination of the persons body mind and soul.
Brainwashing the victim works by acting like they care and love you.
You will go to the same person for advice that abused you…you think they care
You will become conditioned to this abuse and think that it is love.
If you grew up in a disordered household you will think fondly of these people and how they treat you is love.
You will seek out people with the same traits.
It will feel familiar and good at first.
Once the devaluation starts the victim will panic and do anything to get the relationship back to the idealization phase.
This is where that person felt on top of the world.
Instead, what happens is that the victim slowly loses their mental and psychological well being.
The victim wants the pain to stop and will do anything to please the abuser.
If this abuse was out in the open then it would be different.
You would know who your enemy is.
Instead the victim sleeps right next to their enemy thinking that they are the problem.
This kind of abuse is going to come
more out into the open for all the world to see and know about.
Covert abusers days are numbered

Discard
They will use you for personal gain, and when you’re no longer of use to them, they will discard you.
Sometimes, this discard is final; the relationship ends, and they move on to repeat the cycle with someone else. In other cases, it might be temporary. When they need something else, they'll draw you back into the relationship to begin the same distressing and damaging cycle all over
being the target of narcissistic abuse is stressful and hurtful
They need other sets of ears to spill their lies to. Their distorted sense of self relies on it.
. It is also common for people to use fake acts of guilt, such as fake tears or a false sense of concern, in order to manipulate others into thinking that they feel remorse or guilt
