Finding a logical and practical solution to the emotional and mental pain that we suffer can bring immense relief. We find a new hobby, we employ the tips, techniques and latest trends that we see on tick tock and instagram to help move and soothe the hurt. We are getting somewhere with this, it’s working, we feel better. But what happens when that pain continues to show up in different places, different faces, at different times?

I call this the hurt - hope - despair cycle. You think that you understand the hurt, begin to work with it, feel immense hope and then after a while realise that you are chasing ghosts. You realise that the problem that you thought you had solved is now showing up in a different way. You are exhausted with the effort, despairing about what to do next and asking yourself “why?”

Why does this keep happening? What am I doing wrong? Why can’t I just get better?

In this workshop I’m going to help you understand why. I will share with you the biggest barrier to achieving real transformation of trauma. I’ve seen it time and time again in clinical practice and most worryingly, it’s being presented as a cure for mental health today in our healthcare system.

Join me for this podcast where I’m going to show you how to move beyond the hurt - hope - despair cycle so that you can finally be free from the pain of your past. So that you can heal at last.
