Welcome to episode 30.
This week we go off on a tangent to expand on the management regs and we discuss something called the hierarchy of risk control. A method used to consider risk control from the most effective controls down to the least effective.
We couldn't resist a little chit chat at the beginning so be prepared for 30 mins of current issues before we get in to the nitty gritty.
So sit back, get comfy and enjoy the journey with us.

Welcome to episode 27 where Lynsey meets Donna Williams from Dangerpoint in North Wales, a specialist safety education centre.
They have created an amazing safety adventure where children can visit a kitchen, a road crossing, a living room, a beach, a bus etc.... so that they can search these locations for hazards and learn how to keep safe.
The centre is open to schools in term time and families in school holidays, to help educate, from an early age, on safety at home and out in the world.
Visit their website on Home - DangerPoint for a virtual tour, info on upcoming events (especially as when this is released it is the summer holidays in the UK) and how to get in touch with them.
So sit back, get comfy and come on the journey with us.

This episode is brought to you to mark the 50th anniversary of The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. In the village of Aberfan, on 21st October 1966, a major disaster took place that was pivotal in the introduction of The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and then the associated regulations as time went on.
This tragic incident claimed the lives of 144 innocent people, 116 of those were children and continues to have an impact on the village of Aberfan.
These people will never know how they changed the entire nations lives forever and supported the creation of legislation that was created to protect us all from the impact of workplace incidents on our lives.
We bring you a 2 hour special episode to explain, in our words, what led to this disaster and the impact it had. This is a very emotional episode.

As always the discussion reaches topics that we float on to so be prepared to hear about hamsters, professionalism, words that make us giggle and one of us having a taste of dog chocolate!!
