We propose an alternative and provide sound reasoning for why you might want to start a group of people yourself. The selfish version is that you need a group anyway. However, there's more to it when we look at it culturally.

The recent shutdown of the government has created a lot of conversation about what people call "healthcare". The reality is different than what you want it to be. "Healthcare" costs a lot of money, and it's not actually improving health most of the time. We provide some simple data to explain the premise. We are intimately aware that access to care has saved lives, but we can't miss the forest for the trees. This episode looks at the forest because the answers are right in front of us as long as we're willing to see them.

Mass shootings are still a thing and we take a look at the reasons why. The answers may seem so simple. Control the guns. Control security in high risk areas. Provide better mental health support.
